WHO WE ARE
Today Leone is a market leader company, certified ISO 9001:2015, that relies on a trusty staff of 60 people.
The main factory has a 10.000 sq.m warehouse with more than 15.000 pallets, in order to guarantee every supply. With a widespread sales network, we can sell in Italy as well as in Europe and Worldwide.
LEONE SINCE 1945
Our business started in Lugo di Romagna during the second postwar period. These were very difficult years with very little resources and the founder, Mr. Luigi Tampieri with his family, worked very hard to create Tampieri s.n.c, producing toothpicks from the goose feathers.
In 1970 Mr. Luigi Tampieri was replaced by his son Pietro and the company name changed into Leone s.n.c.
A REAL LABORATORY OF IDEAS
We developed the first personalized packaging automatic machines for toothpicks and we started to mail our marketing postcards to all the restaurants across Italy.
In the 80’s we designed the first decorations for ice creams and the marketing postcard became the first real catalogue.
The company, thanks to the original ideas and the synergy with his customers, developed becoming a benchmark for this sector.
During the 2000’s the company turned into a real laboratory of ideas and tests which involved all the Ho.Re.ca products.
